Terms of Service

Paraxora provides tools for personal habits, daily routines, discipline tracking, and related insights. Features may change as we improve the product. Guest mode and account mode may offer different persistence (device-only vs cloud).

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding contract. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement.

• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep credentials confidential
• You are responsible for activity under your account
• Notify us of unauthorized use via the contact options on the Paraxora website (when available)

You retain rights to the content you enter (habit names, notes, marks). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate Paraxora for you. You must not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

You agree not to:

• Abuse, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users' data
• Use Paraxora for illegal purposes
• Scrape or overload the service unreasonably
• Misrepresent affiliation with Paraxora

Paraxora is a productivity and habit tool, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mood and sleep fields are optional self logs. Consult a qualified professional for health decisions.

The Paraxora name, branding, UI, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the product except as allowed by these Terms.

The service may integrate Google sign-in, hosting (Vercel), and database (MongoDB Atlas). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or abuse.

You may stop using Paraxora anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability limits) remain in effect.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARAXORA AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50 IF THE SERVICE IS FREE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

You will defend and indemnify Paraxora against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place from which the service is principally operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have non-exclusive venue, subject to your mandatory local rights.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where local law requires additional consent.
